Our response to the criminal offences consultation is generally supportive of TPR draft policy on its approach to the investigation and prosecution of the new criminal offences. However, we have asked for additional comfort from TPR that trustees acting in good faith and taking appropriate advice will not be prosecuted and we have asked for ongoing education and communication from TPR as its experience develops.
