Responding to the consultation, a review group drawn from the Association of Professional Pension Trustees (APPT) says that the Guide from the Taskforce on Social Factors on Considering Social Factors in Pension Scheme Investment will be broadly helpful for pension scheme trustees. We say the report’s clarity in defining social issues, such as the gender gap, and its provision of practical measures are key strengths.
