Rachel Croft, Chair of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees (APPT), “welcomed the Pension Review announcement as the essential next step in improving longer-term retirement income outcomes. Our members have a key role in making sure pension scheme members get the best and most secure return they can from the contributions they and their employers make into arrangements of all types. We will want to play an important role in helping the new Commission focus on identifying reforms that are achievable and readily accepted by both members and their employers in the challenging environment outlined at the launch of this timely policy initiative.”
